1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Astrum (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update the Terms; see section 11 for change notice mechanics.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). The Service is intended primarily for users in the United Kingdom and Europe. We do not offer the Service to users inside Mainland China and make no representations about its legality or availability there.

3. Subscription & billing

  • · Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until canceled.
  • · Cancel any time from your dashboard; you keep service through the end of the paid period.
  • · Prices are in USD unless noted; local taxes/VAT may apply at checkout.
  • · We do not collect CNY and do not contract with users from Mainland China.

4. Refunds

7-day money-back guarantee on first-time purchases. To request a refund, email support@astrumvpn.com within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are issued via the original payment method within 5 business days. Renewals are not refundable; we send a renewal reminder 7 days before each charge.

5. Acceptable use

The Service is for legitimate personal or business use. You agree NOT to:

  • · Send spam, phishing, malware, or other unsolicited bulk traffic
  • · Conduct DoS / DDoS attacks, port scanning, or vulnerability scanning of third-party systems
  • · Distribute material that infringes copyright (DMCA notices are honored)
  • · Distribute child sexual abuse material — zero-tolerance immediate termination + reporting
  • · Resell the Service or share an account with more than 5 devices simultaneously
  • · Attempt to circumvent abuse-prevention systems (rate-limit bypass, multi-account abuse)

Violations may result in suspension without refund. We will give a written warning for good-faith mistakes; intentional or repeated abuse leads to termination.

6. Service availability

We target 99.5% monthly uptime. Scheduled maintenance is announced 24h in advance. During unplanned outages exceeding 12 consecutive hours, you may request a prorated credit for the downtime period.

The Service is provided "as is"; we cannot guarantee that any specific platform, app, or geographic region will remain accessible at all times. Streaming-platform unlock is best-effort and is not a guaranteed feature of any plan.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We do not log traffic.

8. Intellectual property

Astrum, the Astrum logo, and the marketing copy on this site are property of Astrum Network Limited. The Astrum desktop and mobile clients are open-source under MIT license; the control-plane and server-side code remain proprietary.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for material breach of these Terms or for non-payment after a 7-day grace period. On termination, billing data is retained per the Privacy Policy; everything else is deleted within 30 days.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are resolved by the courts of England and Wales, except that consumer-protection laws of your country of residence may provide additional non-waivable rights.
